Application scenarios of corundum bricks in slag line

Advantages of corundum bricks as slag line bricks

For example, in a slag environment containing high FeO, the erosion rate of corundum bricks is much lower than that of ordinary refractory bricks, which greatly extends the service life of the furnace lining.
High strength: Corundum bricks have high room temperature compressive strength and high temperature strength. In a high temperature environment, it can still maintain good structural strength, resist the scouring and mechanical impact of molten steel and slag, prevent the brick body from peeling and breaking due to force, and ensure the structural stability of the slag line.
Good thermal shock resistance: During the steelmaking process, the slag line will frequently experience rapid cooling and heating temperature changes. Corundum bricks have good thermal shock resistance through reasonable raw material formula and molding process, can withstand drastic temperature fluctuations, reduce cracking and peeling caused by thermal stress, and extend the service life of slag line bricks.
Low porosity: The corundum brick adopts advanced molding and sintering technology in the production process, which significantly reduces the porosity of the brick body. Low porosity can not only effectively prevent the penetration of slag, but also reduce the stress concentration caused by pores, further improving the corrosion resistance and strength of the brick body.
