Corundum Refractory Castables Good Thermal Shock Resistance

The main component of corundum is aluminum oxide (Al2O3), which has a high content, generally above 90%. Since aluminum oxide itself has a very high melting point, corundum refractory castables have excellent high temperature resistance, with a refractoriness of up to 1770℃-2000℃. They can withstand various thermal stresses and chemical erosions in high temperature environments, and can be used in various high-temperature industrial kilns and other thermal equipment.

Features

Good workability, strong bonding force, long initial setting time and construction operation time, rapid strength growth, strong impermeability, no acid treatment, easy to ensure the compactness and fullness of the brickwork, and can significantly improve the chimney lining The air-tightness and integrity of the wall and the anti-corrosion ability of the lining. It is an ideal cementing material for the lining of high chimneys, high temperature flues and air ducts. It can also be used for acid-resistant pools and tanks in petroleum, chemical, non-ferrous metallurgy and other industries engineering.

 The corundum crystal structure is stable and can maintain good crystal morphology and structural integrity at high temperatures, giving the castable a higher room temperature compressive strength and high temperature compressive strength. Generally speaking, the room temperature compressive strength of corundum refractory castables can reach 50MPa-100MPa or more, and the high temperature compressive strength can also be maintained at a high level, which can effectively resist the impact, wear and extrusion of the material and extend the service life.

 After production, High Alumina Refractory Castable is packed and shipped to customers. Most common packing are Big Bags of 1 metric ton, 1.2 or 1.3 metric tons. Or packed into 25kg woven plastic bags or 25kg paper bags, and 40 bags on a pallet.
Other Low Cement Insulation Castable grain sizes can be produced if required.
