Direct-Bonded: The magnesia and chromite grains are bonded at high temperatures without a significant amount of secondary phases, offering high corrosion resistance and durability. Fused Rebonded: Made by fusing magnesia and chrome materials together, then re-pressing and firing, resulting in a denser and more wear-resistant brick. Semi-Rebonded: These have properties between direct-bonded and fused rebonded bricks, offering a balance of performance and cost.
