The excellent characteristics of SiC products, such as high thermal conductivity and high corrosion resistance against numerous process media make it particularly ideal for use in high temperature furnaces and in waste incineration plants.

1,Silicate Bonding

carborundum brick are manufactured on modern hydraulic high compression presses and are fired under an oxidizing atmosphere. SiC bricks with 60 % to 85 % SiC content are used among other applications for cooling bricks in the foundry industry and in furnaces of the iron and non-ferrous industries.

2,Nitrogenous compounds (SIALON)

Carborundum brick are exposed to exceptional corrosive conditions, thermal conditions and abrasive conditions when applied in combustion chambers of waste incineration plants or high temperature furnaces. SiC bricks with silicon-aluminum-oxynitride bonding and with a grain matrix from cubic SiC are well suited for the latter stress applications. A purpose related material composition, the application of different shape related shaping processes, and firing in the best possible oxygen free atmosphere ensures SiC products are produced with excellent performance characteristics.

3,Clay Bonded

Carborundum brick is made of high quality SIC (72%-99%)and bonded by clay.

Feature:High thermal conductivity, high bending strength, goog thermal shock resistance, stable chemical performance, high cold crushing strength, good anti-corrosion ability.                         
Application: high temperature furnace lining (furnace bottom and hearth, furnace body, etc.), smelting non-ferrous metal furnace lining.
