The advantage of magnesia-alumina spinel brick is good thermal stability, in the process of use will react with the clinker, and then form a very thin calcium aluminate protective layer on the surface of the brick, so that the liquid is not easy to penetrate, its anti-spallation performance is better than the direct combination of magnesia-chrome brick.The service life of the cooling zone and transition zone in the kiln can be extended twice as long as that of the magnesia-chrome brick directly combined.However, its corrosion resistance is slightly inferior to that of directly bonded magnesium-chromium bricks. Meanwhile, sintered spinel bricks are easy to hydrate, resulting in a higher coefficient, and the temperature at kilns is higher than that of directly bonded magnesium-chromium bricks.Pay attention to these problems when using.

The new type alumina magnesia spinel refractory brick is used in the transition zone of the new dry-process kiln, the specific location is the lower transition zone, 0.8~2.2m away from the kiln.The penetration and erosion of alkali, chlorine and sulfur in the rotary kiln is serious, and the phenomenon of overheating is frequent.
