Low porosity fireclay brick for glass furnace is a kind of refractory fireclay brick. It is mainly made of high alumina bauxite and flint clay as the main raw materials, adding sillimanite and andalusite according to the proportion and adding binders and adhesives. The porosity of low-porosity clay products made by smelting, forming, drying and firing in a kiln is generally less than 18%.

1.Low porosity fireclay brick Production Process
Crushing→Mixing→Shaping→Drying→Firing→Inspection→Packaging and Shipment
The flint clay is crushed to three sizes of 3.2~1.6mm, 1.6~0.5mm and <0.5mm. After the fine powder is co-milled by a ball mill, more than 75% of the particle size is less than 0.88mm using multi-clinker ratio, clinker 80-85%, composite clay 15-20%. The composition of the ingredients particles is as follows: 3.2~1.6mm25%, 1.6~0.5mm25%, <0.5mm10%, a total of 40% fine powder.
The material is mixed with a wet mill. The order of addition: first mix with skilled granules for 1~2min, then add the pre-adjusted clay mud for mixing for 2~3min, then add the co-milled powder and mix for 3~5min, the water content of the mud 3.9~4.5%, ready for use after 24h of material trapping.
The molding is performed on a 300t friction brick press. When hitting bricks, start lightly and then heavier, hitting 8-12 times. The density of the brick blank should be greater than 2.38g/cm3. After the soil embryo is dried, the moisture content is less than 2%. If the firing is carried out in an inverted flame kiln, the firing temperature is 1400 ℃, and the temperature is kept for 50 to 60 hours.
The physical indicators of the product are as follows: first porosity 12%; bulk density 2.4g/cm3; normal temperature compressive strength 71MPa; 1400℃, 3h reburning linear change rate -0.1%; load softening temperature 1500℃.
