       Horseshoe flame furnace is also called End port furnace, because its fire nozzle is arranged longitudinally at the head of the furnace,

and the flame burns in the shape of a horseshoe in the furnace. Horseshoe flame furnace is the most widely used furnace type

 in glass industry furnaces, which can be used to produce glass products such as flat glass, bottle glass, tableware glass, instrument glass,

 medicinal glass, glass fiber, etc.

Key features of horseshoe flame furnace:

  1. Regenerative longitudinal flame furnace.
  2. There is only one pair of small furnaces, and the scale of the furnace is limited.
  3. The flame has a long combustion path in the furnace, high heat utilization rate, low energy consumption and low emissions.
  4. Compared with the regenerative horizontal flame furnace, the melting temperature system is not easy to adjust and the glass quality is not easy to control.
  5. The downstream of the furnace is suitable for matching the two structures of flow hole (throat) and flow channel (canal).
  6. Compared with the regenerative horizontal flame melting furnace, the kiln age is shorter.
  7. Compared with the regenerative horizontal flame melting furnace, the investment is low and the land area is small.
